Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code

Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code by Eoin Colfer is the third instalment in the internationally bestselling Artemis Fowl series — one of the most inventive, hilarious, and genuinely thrilling children's fantasy series of the early twenty-first century. Published by Puffin Books, this book continues the adventures of Artemis Fowl II — the twelve-year-old criminal genius whose encounters with the LEPrecon fairy unit have made him their greatest threat and most reluctant ally.

In this third book, Artemis has created the C Cube — a supercomputer built using stolen fairy technology. When ruthless businessman Jon Spiro immediately steals the device and puts Artemis's friend Butler in mortal danger, Artemis must once again recruit his fairy allies for a heist that takes the action from Ireland to Chicago — far outside the fairy world's normal jurisdiction.

Colfer writes with exceptional wit, pace, and inventive energy — creating a world that is simultaneously fantastical and deeply logical, populated by characters who are original, funny, and genuinely likeable. The Artemis Fowl series is among the finest children's adventure fiction of the past quarter century, and The Eternity Code is among its most entertaining entries.
